i feel like s!#t. i've had a cold/sinus thing since last Wednesday and i am exhausted. the last few nights i've been going to bed at 8:30. my house is a disaster zone. like seriously, i would actually be embarrassed if someone came by unexpected. it's not just messy, it's kinda gross.
i do not have the energy to care.
i also got some possibly frustrating news. i do best when i have a plan. when i have control. i do not function well when things are up in the air so to speak.
oh well, tomorrow is Friday and then it's a long weekend.

ReplyDeleteI kinda hit a wall after the frenzy last weekend. It was all I could do to get the damn backsplash up yesterday. Now I still have to grout. Not to mention clean the dining room and modify the drawers, hang the medicine cabinet and install a shelf, etc, etc. I am SO pissed that like a month after I buy the vanity Ikea comes out with my vanity but with the dark drawer fronts, which is what I wanted, instead of gloss white. But I realize in the scheme of things this is not a big deal.
Emotionally I had a few good weeks and then seemed to regress back a couple of months. Not sure why. Valentines Day (not that we ever celebrated), stress of the reno, whatever.
Really sorry you are getting dicked around. I hear you about the control. It's how we are built I think. ;) At least you get a long weekend.
