oh canada, our home and native land

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."~Mark Twain

nope - that quote has nothing to do with Canada day but i thought it was appropriate re: blogs of late.

happy safe Canada day everyone - i'm spending the day painting - what else?

  1. You're right about going for it, especially given the quote above. Our main worry is the cats. We can't leave them somewhere for a year so it's a matter of how feasible is it to bring them with us. The other thing is the timing but that can be worked out.
We had a good, if uneventful, Canada Day. We went downtown to check out the festivities for a bit. Took a look at our new convention centre which is MASSIVE. Seriously. The one escalator is the longest one I've ever seen. It's really an incredible building even if it was like 100% over budget. Heading to the lot this weekend.
