been spending far too much time reading the live-blogging from the Russell Williams sentencing.
i wish i could say i'm surprised by the depravity human beings are capable of.
i've always been interested in true crime. i can remember going to the murder trial for Anne Marie Bloskie with my mom when I was 14 or 15.
funny how this stuff disgusts me but doesn't scare me. no, instead of being afraid of real monsters like the soon to be ex-Colonel, i'm afraid of zombies. go figure.
I don't think it's getting the same kind of coverage out here. I've been reading the Globe but it isn't really making TV news here. I guess once you've had Pickton and the pig farm, a guy who kills two people and keeps a bunch of underwear seems tame by comparison. Sadly. Of course the fascinating thing about Williams is how high functioning he was. Imagine how his wife feels. Man, I think I'm having a hard time. Crazy.
