Another busy day. Dr. appointment at 8:30am (when will I learn not to book appointments that require travelling during rush hour?). Then we got half the grass seed down in the back yard (before we ran out) and then Jay went to work.

Maggie was less sucky today though she does seem to be a bit off schedule and Nate is once again doing his best to hold in a poop.

No other plans for this week other than playgroup which turned out to be rather dramatic last week with a bit of an argument between two of the moms, one of whom happens to be the one I don't like the other being the organizer.

It was some sort of administration issue regarding fees and the mom I don't like was most definitely in the wrong and all she has to do is read the registration form to see that. In any event it was rather akward.

Question of the day is another Fast and Furious movie really necessary?

Jay headed back to work today so I was on my own this evening. We had PB and J sandwiches for dinner.

I'm trying very hard not to have the tv on so much when the kids are around - its really hard sometimes especially when the weather is really crappy like today. We've been trying to turn it off once it is time for dinner and just listening to music until Nate goes to bed.

So tonight Nate and I danced and danced and danced.

I have been failing miserably at my get back to running challenge...part of it has been timing - trying to fit it in between naps etc. and part of it is laziness and part of it is a lack of suitable shoes. My runners are at least 3 years old now and have too many miles on them to run in them and I just can't seem to make buying new ones a monetary priority.

I did at least walk tonight after getting Maggie down.

oh i love a rainy night

Poured rain all day but thats ok - we managed to keep busy.

The F1 season opened with a surprise inaugural (sp?) win for the new Brawn team and Britain's previous golden boy Jensen Button. Good for him.

Jay took Nate to Sunday school - I was geared to go but couldn't bring myself to wake up Maggie from her nap especially since she had been up twice during the night.

The in-law's came over for a visit and dinner (I made lasagna) it was a nice evening. I must be getting more tolerant in my "old" age :)

Jay heads back to work tomorrow after a week off - its been great having him home. Only 6 weeks until he is gone for 3 months...

Well, I'm going to polish off the bottle of wine from dinner and head to bed soon.

Great day - fabulous spring weather. I think it only hit 13 but it might as well have been 25. I got the remaining leaves and dead grass raked in the front yard and did some major de-dandelionizing done in the back.

Nate played outside almost all day. Poor kid has a cold again, I swear everytime we go to playgroup he gets sick.

Had the windows open all day so I'm hoping the seemingly ever present smell of baby poop has faded.

every now and then I get a little bit terrified

Windows changed messenger and the only way i can get to my space (at least that I can figure out) is through hotmail and i don't want to have to log into hotmail all the time.

So we'll see about this...
