life has been...busy i guess.
just back from a lovely relaxing vacation on the west coast. Vancouver, Ucluelet and Tofino.
i heart the ocean!
There was lots of good food, good shopping and sleeping in. So nice to have no responsibility for a few days.
Even tried sea-kayaking. Which started out all lovely and beautiful until the wind picked up! After being stranded (briefly) in a kelp bed and battling some rough water we made it without being towed which I think was quite the accomplishment.
Now it's back to work and back to reality but it sure is nice being with the family again. As much as I enjoyed my 9 days of freedom it was wonderful to have two little dirty faces to come home to!
